Japan Attraction: Costco

Japan Attraction: Costco

In case you did not know, Costco is a global retailer with warehouse locations that sells a variety of bulk-size items for members only. As long as you have a Costco membership and show your card, you can explore and buy at any Costco location, including foreign countries.

Although it might seem like a terrible idea to go to a Costco when traveling in Japan, Costco is an excellent place to stock up on packaged Japan goods in bulk. There is an assortment of goods perfect for creating souvenir goodie bags for family and friends. Just be sure you have room in your luggage before you purchase. Check out these pictures to see our haul in Japan Costco!

And you can order a hot dog with soda for 100 - 200 yen, but how about trying the Japan Costco's Hokkaido milk ice cream with caramelized walnuts or its bulgogi bakes (instead of chicken bakes) at the same reasonable prices you find at an American Costco.
