Rilakkuma, Sailor Moon & Food Wars! at Anime Expo Convention 2017 in Los Angeles, CA
Anime Expo® (aka AX) is the largest anime and manga convention held in North America at the Los Angeles Convention Center! This year, the 26th annual expo was held during the weekend of July 4th. With over 100,000 attendees, Anime Expo features many events and activities including guest panels, arcades, concerts and exhibit hall where attendees can purchase a variety of products from a wide range of exhibitors.
Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma

Food Wars! co-creator, Yuto Tsukuda, makes his first North American convention appearance at Anime Expo 2017! Tsukuda will participate in a panel and autograph sessions.
This action-packed, saucy food comedy, which is Tsukuda Sensei’s first work to be released in English, has also been adapted into a hit anime.
Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma is published in North America by VIZ Media, and the latest chapters are serialized simultaneous to Japan publication in VIZ Media’s Weekly Shonen Jump digital magazine.

This year's Rilakkuma and JapanLA booth featured a Rilakkuma themed cafe.
The shop was selling so many cute Rilakkuma merchandise (plush, accessories, stationery), launching exclusive JapanLA x Rilakkuma clothing & pins, hosting giveaways and exclusive appearances of Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma.

VIZ Media is heading into the Japanese pop-culture mega-event Anime Expo 2017 with a full slate of activities and con exclusives featuring some of its most popular titles.
Panels will cover Sailor Moon. The booth will once host a must-shop retail section, where you can bundle off your purchases in an exclusive, limited edition tote featuring Sailor Moon theme.

Exploring the Entertainment Hall
The Entertainment Hall is the place to celebrate cosplay, gaming and art! Companies get a rare chance to connect with a targeted audience through a personal, hands-on experience which provides immediate demand for engagement and sales.
