Homegrown Sustainable Sandwiches Opens in Downtown San Francisco
Homegrown Sustainable Sandwiches, the Seattle based mission-driven sandwich shop, just opened their first storefront in the Bay Area in the heart of the Financial District.
Homegrown was started by cofounders Ben Friedman and Brad Gillis back in 2009, and has since grown to 10 stores in Seattle. The team has been thrilled to open three stores in the Bay Area including the first in FiDi, one in Danville and the final in Lafayette. Each store is proud to offer soups, salads, grain bowls and sandwiches made from fresh, local and organic produce; Homegrown even has its own certified organic farm located just outside Seattle and planning to open its own organic farm here in the Bay. The first of the three stores opened in San Francisco’s financial district on January 10th.
Cuisine: Salad, Breakfast & Brunch, Sandwiches
Price Range: $11.00 - $30.00
Highlight: I definitely enjoyed the smoked pastrami and chicken pesto sandwiches the most. They are known for their sandwiches so get their sandwiches! ❤
