Travel Eats: Nico’s Pier 38 in Hawaii
Right next door to the Honolulu Fish Auction… Nico’s Pier 38!
We walked over (a few steps away) after our fish auction viewing… It was 6:00 am and Nico’s did not open until 6:30 am so we patiently waited outside until it opened. Actually, I was sooo hungry but since it was the only place open at the time around the area, we waited!
Since we were the first ones in, the fish and other snacks were not stocked yet.
A lot of Yelpers mentioned the furikake ahi but unfortunately it wasn’t available for breakfast yet. Darn!
We had an option of sitting outside or inside…
We were sooo excited when our food arrived! I chose the fish of the day & eggs with spam fried rice. Mmm… So yummy. The fish was nicely pan-fried, buttery and fresh-tasting!
